Comprehensive Care Management, LLC, is an independent case management company that assists clients and families throughout the healthcare decision-making processes that can occur with illness, injury or declining health status. With these challenges, we may focus on the following:  what kind of treatment is needed, who will be able to help, what are the physicians saying, etc. Today's healthcare systems are a far more complex maze than ever, which causes increased fragmentation in care and confusion among providers and patients. The focus of case management is advocating for the patient, guiding the patient and family, serving as a resource and coordinating appropriate health care services in a timely and cost-effective manner.  Cheryl Acres, RN, is an experienced certified case manager and the owner of Comprehensive Care Management.
